TradieDesk — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TradieDesk ("the Service"), an AI receptionist platform that answers customer enquiries, qualifies leads and arranges callbacks on your behalf. By ticking "I accept" and creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

TradieDesk provides an AI assistant ("Ava") that chats with your customers via a shareable link, captures lead details and helps you manage bookings. Ava is an automated assistant and may occasionally make mistakes; you are responsible for confirming job details, prices and appointments directly with your customers.

2. Free Trial

  • The free trial is completely free — no payment is taken and no card or payment details are required to start it.
  • There is no automatic payment at the end of the trial. When your trial ends, the Service simply pauses until you choose to subscribe — nothing is charged automatically.
  • The free trial is strictly one-time use — one free trial per account and per device. It cannot be reused, and accounts created to obtain additional trials may be suspended.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • The Service is offered on paid monthly plans (Lite and Pro) — see the Billing tab for current prices — billed via Stripe. Payment is only ever taken when you actively choose to subscribe — never automatically and never during the free trial.
  • Once you subscribe, your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing area; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
  • If your trial ends without a subscription, or your subscription payment later fails, access to the dashboard and your public receptionist will be suspended until you subscribe.

4. Fair-Usage AI Credit Allowance

  • Your monthly subscription includes a fair-usage allowance of AI credits for your receptionist and follow-up messages. The included allowance is capped each billing month.
  • Credits do not roll over — any unused allowance expires at the end of each billing month and does not carry into the next.
  • During the free trial a smaller capped allowance applies.
  • If you reach your allowance, Ava will pause answering new customers until the next billing month, unless you purchase additional credits.

5. Additional Credits

  • You may purchase additional credit packs. Extra credits are charged immediately via Stripe and are added to your allowance as soon as your payment is confirmed.
  • Purchased credits are valid only for the billing month in which they are activated and do not roll over.
  • Prices for additional credits are shown at the point of purchase and are non-refundable once the credits are activated.

5. Acceptable Use — No Bots or Abuse

You agree that you will not:

  • use automated scripts, bots or artificial traffic to interact with, load-test or drain the Service or its AI credits;
  • create fake, duplicate or fraudulent business profiles;
  • resell, share or expose the Service or your receptionist in a way designed to circumvent the credit allowance or usage limits;
  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes.

We operate automated rate-limiting and abuse detection. We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is abusing the Service, exploiting the credit system, or breaching these Terms, without refund.

7. Your Content & Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business description and prices you provide, which Ava uses to answer customers. You are responsible for handling your customers' personal data lawfully. We process data to provide the Service and do not sell your data.

8. Availability & Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for missed enquiries, incorrect AI responses, lost business, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous month.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms and the credit allowance from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By accepting, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms. Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and IP address.
